Two very special ladies to me...

My heart is heavy today, it has been for days. I am writing this more to let my heart speak and to ask you to join me in prayer for these very sweet and special women that God has put in my life and I am so much richer because of them. They have all taught me a lot about faith.

Two hearts breaking.
One daughter today will attend her mothers funeral.
One mother today will attend her daughter's burial.
My heart does not have the words to express my sorrow. The ONE thing that I hang on to...is that they will be reunited one day. A daughter will sit at her mother's feet again and a mother will hold her daughter again. I love both of these ladies so much and my heart is so heavy for them! They both have such incredible faith and have taught me so much through their separate journey's. One has cared for and loved on her mom while seeing her body fail her. One only got to spend a little time with her daughter but the love is so incredibly deep. Both know they have gone to sit at the feet of Jesus and can rejoice in that even though their hearts are breaking. I love you both and will continue to lift you up in prayer and thought. One thing is for certain...Heaven just got a lot sweeter this week!

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Mrs. Knight, thank you for coming to my grandmother's service today. I know it meant so very much to my aunt that you were there. My mom shared your blog with me just now. Your words in this post are true and beautiful. It was good to meet you today.

Dear Sweet Mary Kay, you have walked this path with me, and I am forever grateful to have such a faithful friend like you. I never ever knew or realized that days could be so sad...but your words have been like a soothing balm to my raw and fresh aches. Thank you for your never-ending prayers and thoughts.

Amy is right...it meant the world to me to see your face today and to hug your neck. Love you.

I know I have told you before, but I truly love you and look up to you in so many ways. Thank you for being a listening ear over the past few months, and especially recently. You have blessed me beyond what I can ever begin to tell you. Every prayer you have brought before the LORD on our behalf was appreciated. Please don't stop. I love you very much.
